Register with ZZZS – Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia
Once resident and working, register with ZZZS – Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia. In the meantime your EHIC covers necessary care.

Open a local bank account
Most Slovenia employers pay salary into a local EUR account. Bring your ID, proof of address and Davčna številka (tax number) / EMŠO.
